We provide both refrigerated and dry-freight transport to the FMCG market and retail companies. We provide refrigerated temperature printouts per load on request. All PODs can be delivered to the client within 48 hours after delivery via our electronic scanning pod system should this be requested. We also offer
a 24-hour transport service between Johannesburg to Cape Town.
We have a fleet of 70 refrigerated trucks. All our trucks are on a pre-planned maintenance programme to help ensure safe, on-time delivery. The vehicles are serviced according to a pre-set schedule and the work complies with the manufacturers’ and OEM specifications.

Satellite tracking: All our vehicles are equipped with new-generation satellite tracking systems for real-time monitoring

Accessibility: Cell phones have been installed in all our vehicles. These cell phone numbers are available on request for
clients who would like to confirm loading and off-loading times.

Back-up drivers: Two back-up drivers are always on standby to help manage driver fatigue.

Network of service providers: Frost Logistics has a network of service providers on different routes so that any breakdowns
can be attended to correctly, timeously and efficiently.

Risk insurance: Frost Logistics has risk insurance to cover excess insurance payments should something unforeseen happen
which leads to an insurance claim.
- Goods in transit cover: This cover is currently R1 000 000 per load. Increased cover can also be arranged.
- Compliance: All refrigerated trailers have PPECB certification. Vehicle maintenance complies with the manufacturers’
and OEM specifications.

Scheduled maintenance programme: All our trucks are on a pre-planned maintenance programme. All refrigerated units are
under maintenance contract with Grenco SA.
